This is the first page or so of a play which was performed at Gosford Hill School as the Senior Production in
November 1994. If you'd like to perform it or want any further
information about its staging or music please contact me.
Music in the Church of England
I'm in the process of writing an essay about music in the church. In the meantime, here's my contribution- a setting of the Church of England Rite A service. It was composed for Kirtlington Parish Church in Oxfordshire. The score was written using Sibelius software, so to hear it you'll need to download the "Scorch" plug-in from www.sibelius.com
If you're involved in church music,

There are some superb links to sites of interest to English teachers here. The pages below were written in connection with work- "the philosopher's hobby and the poor man's friend" (P.G.Wodehouse) -at Gosford Hill School: look for the Performing Arts pages.
I don't work there any more, though. I now teach English at Beachborough School.
